Designed in response to contextual constraints and evolving lifestyle needs, this intervention breathes new life into a dark, poorly ventilated G+1 house. To enhance personal security and generate rental yield, the program strategically shifts the family’s primary quarters to the upper floors, reserving the ground level for tenants.

PM Studio proposed strategic civil modifications along the southern face to capture deep daylighting and natural airflow. An exterior staircase was added to establish independent access for both zones, maintaining total privacy between owners and occupants. The integration of pergolas and rounded columns softens the facade’s geometry, elevating both the building’s curb appeal and the everyday quality of living.
